Mr Chong art exhibition & launching of e-art2u.com

With us today is famous local artist Mr. Chong Hon Fatt[biography], today will be his big day with the launching of "Penang Heritage Buildings Under the Sun" solo art exhibition by him as well as the launching on Jin-Xiu's art gallery website, www.e-art2u.com at 12 noon. We have YB Chow Kon Yeow, Penang State Executive Councillor to pull the curtain for both launches.

Mr. Chong is a well-known artist and he has traveled to several countries especially Taiwan by invitation to show his talent and captured down some of the beautiful heritage buildings over there. This time, he would use his brush to captured down Penang heritage scenes on the canvas and it's absolutely marvelous to be able to see his artwork comes into play for the local people.

Our honorable guest, YB Chow arrived at Jin-Xiu premise in the noon and the launching was started officially by speeches from our Chairman, Mr. Ong Kok Sun and YB Chow. First would be the launching of Jin-Xiu's website and a specially made Flash movie was presented as the official launching.

It was followed up by the launching of "Penang Heritage Buildings Under the Sun" art exhibition. We would like to take this opportunity to thank YB Chow Kon Yeow for his presence and officiated the 2 launches.

Finally, YB Chow was led by Jin-Xiu's patron Dato Seri' Tan Khoon Hai, chairman Mr. Ong and the artist Mr. Chong for a detour around the exhibition area with Mr. Chong explaining his artwork to YB Chow before they are served with a light meal at Jin-Xiu restaurant.

Mr. Chong Hon Fatt art exhibition will be held between 30 April 09 till 31 May 09, 11am - 8pm (closed on Thursday) at Jin-Xiu Art Gallery & Tea House located at Muntri Street, Penang. For further information please feel free to contact us.

The art exhibition has concluded in well manner with a total of 22 arts of Mr. Chong has been sold throughout this exciting exhibition. Jin-Xiu Art Gallery would like to thank everybody for his or her patronage and we wish Mr. Chong all the best on his future endeavor.
